ALEXANDRA CRUZ
a.cruz@risemedia2022.com Currently residing in Santa Monica, California, Alexandra was born and raised in Miami. A graduate of Miami’s esteemed New World School of the Arts, she went on to receive a BA in Theater and Dance from The George Washington University. She also achieved a Masters Degree in Public Health. She performed in theater and independent film in Chicago for three years before moving to Los Angeles in 2016 where she has been working in commercials and voiceover, having the honor of working with award winning comedy directors such as Craig Gillespie and Andrew Jay Cohen. She is a studio member at Crash Acting. In 2017, she branched out into production, being a part of the producing team for “Holoscenes”, a world renowned public space, multi format work of installation art that serves as an allegory for the rising sea levels caused by climate change. The piece has been performed in Times Square-NYC, at Art Basel Miami Beach, for the Commonwealth Games Festival in Australia, amongst others. In 2019, she cut her teeth as a producer creating BTS content for brands such as AT&T and Lady Gaga. In 2020, her self produced comedy short about the pandemic was a finalist at multiple comedy film festivals. This year, her first documentary about immigration across our southern border was an official selection of the prestigious AmDocs Film Festival in Palm Springs. |
BRAD CRUZ
b.cruz@risemedia2022.com Is a bilingual first generation Mexican-American creative producer, writer and director born in San Fernando, California. He has worked in broadcast, cable, digital, and feature space in both scripted and unscripted content. He has worked in 46 states, 30+ countries across 6 continents producing over a 100 hours of content. His work can best be described as a storyteller of two worlds, from early struggles and challenges to attending elite private christian schools and universities. His work is a unique portrait of America. He got his “masters” in cinema working closely with filmmakers John Frankenheimer, Ang Lee, and Alec Baldwin customizing props for their films Path to War, Hulk, and Suspect Zero. He found advertising success solving NBC and Telemundo's cross advertising platform dilemmas with his unique creative writing yielding an average growth of 200% year after year. He applied the same philosophies to his short film, “The Last Night”, exceeding all expectations with global acclaim and film festival success. The same creative philosophies can be found in his screenplays specifically in subject matter, characters, and themes tailored to yield profitable Latin positive content. In non fiction work, he cut his teeth at the Emmy Award winning series “Beyond the Glory'' as a cameraman, junior editor and effects artist. He apprenticed for Emmy and Oscar winning editor/director Paul Crowder on “Riding Giants” before showrunning his own non-scripted content. From writing scripted features to documentary narration, as well as producing, directing, and editing, Brad is an all around storyteller. He is currently looking for distribution for his live- action/animated documentary series as well as finance and packaging of his Latin Positive scripted feature. |
